Hideous Fairie From Long Ago

I'm thinking that now and then I need to get back into making some Hideous Fairies. They were fun to make and just interesting. The body was made from muslin, face and hands are Sculpty Clay, acrylic paints, and just a bunch of odds and ends for clothing and embellishments.

Right now I'm procrastinating on working on my latest project. It's a Christmas gift for a family member. Pen and ink stippling project. I've finished the boring background part. Now is the difficult detail part.

So, this was just a visit to try and return to posting on a more regular basis and at least add something fun from my art files.

I'm currently working on Christmas gifts for family members that I will post after the holidays. I'm enjoying my return to my art immensely. I have not felt this happy, content, relaxed, and at peace in many years.
